Slow it down
If it feels like your team is jumping from one project to the next,
slow it down.
If you’re noticing small issues or frustrations bubble up and then disappear,
slow it down.
If you see people working odd hours, but appearing friendly on meetings,
slow it down.
Sometimes, it can feel like there is no time to stop. There is no time to recalibrate. Like you don’t know where to begin.
But nothing good comes from working in the chaos. And it certainly ends up taking a lot more time to get where you want to go.
So, this week, I challenge you to think of ONE simple way you can help your team slow it down.
Maybe it’s a team call where you simply ask – what do you need?
Maybe it’s taking a moment to breathe and become present together – before diving into the deliverables.
Whatever it might look like for you and your team, what is one way you can slow things down this week?
If you read that – and you feel completely overwhelmed by it – it’s alright.
It’s not something we’re all that used to doing.
But I can help. Through the Team Synergy Program, we create the space to slow things down with your team so that they have time to build the connections and iron out the roadblocks that are keeping you in the cycle of go-go-go.
Because when you’re in go-go-go and you forget to stop and pay attention to the little things, you miss out on all the low hanging fruit that are getting in your way from working effectively and unleashing the joy in doing what you do together.
I’d love to hear how you’re going to slow things down – even a little – for your team this week.
